Legal
Terms & Conditions
These Terms apply to use of the Legless Records website and store, including digital music sales, merch orders, pre-orders, and demo submissions. Last updated: 22 March 2026.
1. Scope
By using the Website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. They are intended to work alongside the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Shipping & Returns page. If any part of these Terms conflicts with mandatory consumer protection law, your statutory rights will still apply.
2. Products and Services
Legless Records offers digital music, physical merchandise, pre-orders, label information, artist information, and demo submission routes. Product descriptions, pricing, release dates, and availability are shown on the relevant pages of the Website and may change from time to time.
3. Orders, Pricing, and Payment
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. Prices shown on the Website are displayed in the currency shown at checkout. Taxes, shipping charges, and any additional costs are shown before you complete your purchase. Payment must be authorised before an order is confirmed.
4. Digital Music Purchases
Digital music purchases are licensed for personal use only unless otherwise stated. You must not redistribute, resell, publicly upload, or exploit purchased files commercially without written permission. Where digital content is supplied immediately after purchase or download access is granted, any applicable cancellation right may be lost once supply begins with your consent.
5. Merch and Print-on-Demand Orders
Some merchandise may be fulfilled through a production and fulfilment partner, including print-on-demand workflows. Product images are representative and minor differences in colour, scale, or finish may occur. Size selection is your responsibility, and personalised or made-to-order goods may not be returnable unless faulty, damaged, or incorrectly supplied.
6. Shipping, Pre-orders, and Delivery
Estimated delivery windows are provided for guidance only. Pre-order dates may change where manufacturing, licensing, fulfilment, or platform delays arise. Digital pre-orders are released when the product becomes available. Physical goods may ship separately from digital items. Further delivery and return detail is set out on the Shipping & Returns page.
7. Returns, Cancellations, and Faulty Goods
Where consumer cancellation rights apply, physical goods may usually be cancelled within 14 days from delivery, subject to legal exceptions. Downloaded digital content, opened sealed media where relevant, and personalised or made-to-order items may be excluded from cancellation rights except where goods are faulty or not as described. Faulty, damaged, or incorrect items should be reported promptly so that a repair, replacement, refund, or other appropriate remedy can be arranged in line with consumer law.
8. Accounts and Website Use
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity carried out using that account. You must not misuse the Website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, or use the Website for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes.
9. Demo Submissions
Demos should be submitted only through the route specified on the Website. Submission does not guarantee listening, feedback, release, or correspondence. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, submitting material does not transfer ownership of your rights to Legless Records. AI-generated music is not accepted where the Website or submission page states that such content is not permitted.
10. Intellectual Property
Website content, artwork, branding, logos, product imagery, audio clips, and written material remain the property of Legless Records or the relevant rights holders unless stated otherwise. You may not copy, republish, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit Website content without permission.
11. Liability
The Website is provided on an as-available basis. Legless Records does not exclude liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for fraud, death, personal injury caused by negligence, or breaches of mandatory consumer rights. Subject to that, Legless Records is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of opportunity, or loss arising from events outside reasonable control.
12. Changes and Governing Law
These Terms may be updated from time to time. The version in force at the time of your order will apply to that order. These Terms are intended to sit within applicable consumer and data protection law, including relevant Irish and EU rules where they apply.
